Other interests

Over the years I have loved to travel, read, garden, sing, be on the stage, take acting lessons, play my bass guitar and sing with the band ‘Renaissance,’ and spend time with my family and friends. I live on a couple of acres with my cats and dog. In my 20-year career in communications, I managed departments and gave many public speeches. I developed my public speaking skills as a member of the Cloverleaf Toastmasters Club. I have my grade 8 piano from the Royal Toronto Conservatory of Music. I was with Bard in the Valley for 10 years — first as the vice president of the board and co-producing the first two plays and then as the president of the board and producing the next eight plays. I was onstage in three of the plays. I have two grown children and two grandchildren. Visiting my daughter in Mexico is always a treat as is having my grandchildren here for visits. My agent is Lissa Lloyd at Lloyd Talent Management and she sends me to Vancouver to lots of audition. I have a little gig with the Township of Langley as the 1924 schoolmarm at Lochiel School
